Where do the ideas come from?
The ideas come from your imagination. The design comes from my creativity, my imagination and/or inspiration. I feel it is important to create art for you that is original, that is unique to you and your surroundings. My work is all custom designed.
How long does the job take?
It all depends on what I am creating for you be it a faux finish, mural, trompe l’oeil or my latest art project. Everything is dependent on the design, application, techniques and intricracy of the design.
Is any job too small or too large?
No, not really. I do have a half day minimum. Any design can be painted on canvas and shipped anywhere.
What are your limitations?
I haven’t found a job yet that has stumped me...put me in quandry, yes..but,to have stumped me..not yet.
Who does the work?
I do all the work by myself...it just works better that way.
What type of paint do you use?
It depends on the project, be it faux, murals, trompe l’oeil or an art project. It varies. Most of my projects use water based paints. If you have a preference I will use it.
Will you travel?
You bet. All arrangements need to be made with me prior to the job.
What does it cost?
It all depends on the job.
What is your favorite job?
The next one..... :-)

Would you like Sue to design a Mural for you? Here's what you need to know.
Pricing: Murals are priced individually. Time to execute, difficulty of the subject matter, location and amount of detail are all ingredients considered when pricing a mural. Often percentages are used when a Quote is offered. Specific quotes are made upon request.
Initial Consult : This is where we meet for the first time. We will dicuss mural ideas. You can bring any pictures you have and they can be incorporated into your mural. I often take into consideration your home colors, lighting, and personal objects when designing a mural.
• After we meet I will do a sketch and a quote. These will be sent to you. A fee will be charged for the sketches. At this time the charges will be proposed and budget changes can be made. After I have recieved 1/3 of the quoted amount and signed approval I will schedule dates to begin painting. Changes can be made at this time but may include additional charges.
• Final payment is made upon completion of mural. You will be notified the day before it is completed and payment is expected on the day it is completed.
Murals On Canvas:
Sue can paint your custom mural on a lightweight medium called cambric which can applied directly to the wall and later removed. These can be installed by you or you can hire a professional wallpaper hanger to do this for you. This is a wonderful option if you are not sure you want a permanent mural on your wall or if you will be moving and want to take the mural with you. The above steps also apply to this type of mural. |
